In April 2016, Austin was selected as the only U.S. local government partner for the Open Government Partnership (OGP). The OGP is a unique international coalition of governments committed to the ideals of transparency, accountability and participation. Rhea is a civically engaged citizen. She is city commissioner for the South Asian community and she needs a communication tool to connect communities and organizations so their voices are heard throughout all levels of local government.
